Speed and agility are skills necessary to play the game of soccer at all levels. Speed and agility training improves foot speed, quickness, acceleration, cutting, starting and stopping, change of direction and reaction. In addition, the added body control abilities developed through proper biomechanics, helps to prevent injuries.
The Grizzly Soccer Academy works in coordination with The University of Montana Soccer Strength and Conditioning staff along with other fitness experts to expose Academy participants to the training the Grizzlies go through to make them more explosive, have greater agility, be stronger and more efficient physiologically.
The physical component of the game becomes more and more important the older a player gets.
