All Academy sessions are held at South Campus Soccer Stadium and Washington Grizzly Stadium on the campus of The University of Montana. There are a few sessions held at the Intramural Fields which are adjacent to the soccer stadium.
Who are the coaches at The Griz Full Day Soccer Academy? Montana Head Coach Mark Plakorus and the Grizzly Assistant Coaches oversee the daily operations of The Academy and are actively involved in the training of campers and every session. Also, the Grizzly Soccer Academy brings in some of the best college and professional coaches in the country along with current and former University of Montana players who mentor and are counselors for Academy sessions. Is there a limit to the number of campers? Yes! Space is limited at The Grizzly Soccer Academy. Academy sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Camp sessions fill up quickly so DON’T DELAY!
Will a deposit reserve a space in the Academy? Yes! A $200 deposit is required for the Advanced Academy, Goalkeeper Academy and Team Academies. The remainder of the balance is due upon check-in.

Will I be able to watch my child at camp?
Yes! You are invited to stay and watch the camp from the stands at South Campus Soccer Stadium.
Is there medical staff at camp?
Yes! Every session there are athletic trainers on site and there is always plenty of water and Powerade available for the campers.
How do I contact my child while she/he is at camp?
In case of an emergency, you will be provided with a 24 hour number in your confirmation letter.
Are there any key deposits or costs for a lost room key?
Yes! There is a $25 charge for a lost room key.
Will there be supervision in the dorms?
Yes! There are camp counselors housed in the dorm on each floor who will look after the campers. The dorm also has a key card entry system after 9 pm, thus only Academy staff will be allowed in the dorm. Campers will not be given a key card...they will only have a room key.
Will my child need to bring linens and toiletries?
No...pillow, blanket, sheets a towel and wash cloth will be provided. Campers are free to bring any of these items of their own as well.
Will my child be able to bring snacks?
Yes! Campers may bring snacks if they want. THere will be a camp store where they can purchase snacks and drinks as well.
Should my child bring spending money?
That is up to you. Althought all their meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are provided, there will be a camp store with Powerade, water, snacks, Montana Soccer souveniers, t-shirts, balls, bags, etc. for sale. Most campers like a snack after the evening sessions. Please note...campers will be responsible for their own money.
How many campers in each room?
Every room will house two campers.
Will my child be matched with her/his roommate preference?
Yes! Please make sure both campers request each other when they are filling out their respective registrations.
How will my child get to/from the airport when she/he flies in?
Academy staff will be available to shuttle campers to/form the airport. Please arrange this service as early as possible with our camp staff.
How will campers get from the dorm to meals and the fields?
The dining facility is next door to the dormitories, and the Academy Staff will walk to/from the dorms to all meals. The Academy members will walk from/to the dormitories to Washington Grizzly Stadium and they will be bused back and forth from the dormitories and South Campus Stadium with Academy Staff.
